The third edition of the Esch-sur-Alzette Use-It map is just around the corner!

Unlike classic maps, Use-It maps are atypical and fun, highlighting lesser-known addresses. Alternative, free of charge and published in English so that they can be understood by visiting tourists, Use-It maps are produced on a voluntary basis by local residents, and are aimed at travelers between the ages of 18 and 25.

The map features addresses specially chosen by young people of Esch between March and June 2023 during workshops organized by the Escher Jugendhaus and Kulturfabrik and with the help of Luxembourg author Florence Sunnen. Where to eat the best kebab, a few vocabulary words to speak with the locals, must-know anecdotes about the city… These are just some of the tips referenced in this map designed by illustrator Gianmarco.

The third edition of this map – made possible by a collaboration between Kulturfabrik and Escher Jugendhaus – will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 during a special evening at Kufa Summer Bar. After that, the map will be available in several Esch locations (Kulturfabrik, Escher Jugendhaus, InfoFabrik, Youth Hostel…).
