On June 5 and 6, we invite you to neimënster to participate in the workshops of the art project PLAY conducted by artists Ada Mukhína, Natasha Borenko and Lisa Siomicheva.

The artists explore children’s games of different cultures and generations. What are the similarities, differences and stories behind them? What do we learn about gender roles, competition and cooperation, war and peace while playing? What games do we want to pass on to future generations?

During the workshops Ada, Natasha and Lisa will introduce you to some neighbourhood games from their childhood in Russia. In return, they ask you to contribute to their research and share the outdoor games that you played in the places you grew up. Based on that they will create an interactive performance at the Transition Days Festival on June 11-13, 2021.

People with diverse backgrounds (age, culture, gender, etc.) are welcome!
