LuxData is a new startup in Luxembourg focused on Data Analytics.

One of our missions is to democratize access and understanding of Data Analytics to the greater public.

This is our idea for promoting data analytics to the greater public and encouraging fact-based conversations and decisions. Using Luxembourg’s public data we build digital dashboards and share with the greater public, so anyone can explore and gain exciting insights. See examples: https://www.luxdata.lu/dashboardslive

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Grad Student to help build a Data Warehouse with statistics and socio-economic data related to Luxembourg.

Topics range from Employment, Economy, Industry, Environment to Trade and Housing. For that reason Luxembourgish as a language is important as well as a vested interest in the topics and country itself.

Tasks examples:
Become an expert in relevant data sources (Statec, OpenData, IMF, OECD)
Identify key indicators and most useful data sets.
Help prepare the data.
Support the development of Digital Dashboards

Experience / Interests:
Data and Statistics
Inquisitive and curious
Hands-on and independant
Detailed
Background in Mathematics, Informatics, Economics or Administration

There will be plenty of room to grow and learn, either in data analytics, future consulting or certifications using Alteryx and Tableau depending what your interests are.
